Default Cant log in, says I have wrong password

Ever since I have linked my GW1 and my GW2 accounts, I have not been able to log into GW1, it says I have the wrong password. I have not changed it. I have already sent ANet an e-mail, and am waiting for their reply. Anybody else had the same problem.

yup, GW1 and GW2 accounts that are linked are currently forced to use the same email and password.

ur gw2 password can only be 15/16 characters long, if u used the same password as ur gw1 account for gw2 just remove te last digits that make it exceed 15/16

for instance 12345123456789a% would substitute for a password
it then should be 12345123456789a without the "%"

I had the same message yesterday... it said I entered the wrong password. I checked my email and found a message from Anet stating that I successfully changed my password!

I didnt ask for a new password and the email did not provide the new password. I'm assuming I just got hacked but is it normal to get a new password and not receive the new password in the confirmation email?

Thanks

Yes, that's normal - passwords are never put into emails.

You may have a struggle with support to get access. Try to dig up validation keys for each chapter.
